The Challenge
Protak Scientific was looking to achieve multiple goals by joining forces with Axonn. Due to the technical nature of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, we needed to find effective ways to directly engage decision-makers and other buyer personas through highly optimised content and copywriting.
As well as establishing dominance in search engine results for its core term – enzyme indicator – Protak Scientific also wanted to create a LinkedIn social media strategy. To achieve this, the organisation needed exceptional, easily shareable content to attract, engage and convert its target audience.
A campaign at Axonn starts with a comprehensive understanding of what our clients require. In this case, we got to know Protak Scientific, the company’s goals and what key stakeholders wanted to achieve. Using this information as a foundation, we began learning about Protak’s enzyme indicator technology and the significant benefits it could bring to pharmaceutical manufacturers.
We knew how enzyme indicators could benefit other organisations, but those businesses weren’t aware. To address this, Axonn devised a plan to increase Protak Scientific’s brand awareness and strengthen its market position by producing a wide range of deliverables, including blog posts, social media content, animations, display ads, landing pages and more.
Like any campaign, we knew our approach needed to be supported by data and strategy. In just three months, we were able to significantly improve Protak Scientific’s LinkedIn presence and website traffic through the use of targeted, compelling content.
The informative and engaging content we published on Protak’s website and LinkedIn channel yielded impressive results and achieved every objective set out in our initial plan.
With Axonn’s help, Protak Scientific’s LinkedIn page saw an increase in follower count by 22.5%, with those working in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry making up the highest percentage of followers.
The campaign included 27 planned posts and 26 LinkedIn ads, resulting in more than 140,000 impressions and 2,216 clicks, at a cost per click of £0.46. Traffic to Protak Scientific’s website through expertly crafted blog pages increased by 478% in the same period.
